Cowra

We arrived in Cowra on Sunday July 8!  We stayed here two years ago and visited a number of special tourist sites such as the Japanese Gardens which were absolutely fabulous and I would thoroughly recommend  - as well as the prisoner of war site, so did not venture too far this time.  We knew and remembered the van park was lovely…one of the few places where you have a door on the shower and room to dress!  The best aspect of staying here compared to nearly every caravan park we have visited over the past few years is the fact that it is right next to the main street and therefore close to cafes, shops restaurants, churches and so forth.  It is difficult in many places to walk the distances and then carry home the goodies you buy impulsively!

We had this lovely Combi Van pull up next to us and out came all the romantic aspects  - flags, gingham tablecloth, wine glasses, canopy and mats!  The ‘duco’ had recently been restored and looked very appealing!
